University of Tampere

The University of Tampere is a multidisciplinary scientific community with a special commitment to the critical scrutiny of social phenomena and the formation of civic society. Research include society, economy, administration and culture, likewise public health, well-being and education. There are six faculties at the University: Faculty of Social Sciences, Faculty of Humanities, Faculty of Economics and Administration, Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Education, Faculty of Information Sciences, with about 15,400 degree students.
