FSD will move in March
FSD will move from its current premises in Tampere University's Virta building to the sixth floor of the Linna building. The move will take place in the second week of March, and we will serve our customers at the new address starting on 17 March 2025.
The move may have short-term impacts on services; for example, there may be minor delays in user services. Our online services will function normally, but recovery from possible failures may be slower than usual.
The move is part of the university's broader campus development program. The new premises will be closer to the university's social scientists and library specialists. Linna is best known as the university's central campus library. It is located immediately behind the Virta building, so we will continue to be a short walk from the train station. The new address and arrival instructions will be updated on our website on the day of the move.
