Free-of-charge services

All FSD's core services are free of charge. These include the Aila Data Service, data deposit services, information services, data collection with Penna, Pohtiva, and training offered. FSD also facilitates access to data from certain international comparative studies on behalf of Finnish researchers.

Core services are primarily available for research, teaching and study purposes and may require users to register as users and agree to the terms of use of the service. Preparing data for deposit requires input from the researcher or research project, which should be taken into account when applying for funding.
