Aila Data Service to a new domain on November 26, 2020
Over the past two years, we have gradually moved our online services to the new Tampere University domain. We are now in the final stages of the transition. On Thursday, November 26, 2020, the domain uta.fi will be replaced with tuni.fi in services.fsd.uta.fi and accounts.fsd.uta.fi.
These addresses host several of our key services, such as the Aila Data Service, as well as some machine-readable interfaces. The move should not cause any problems for our customers, but there may be longer-than-usual service interruptions during the service window on Thursday morning from 7am to 10am. When the move is complete, all traffic to the old domain will be redirected to the new address. The link structure remains the same except for the domain.
At the beginning of 2019, the University of Tampere and Tampere University of Technology merged into a new University of Tampere and chose tuni.fi as the new domain name. With this change, all FSD services are under the new university domain.
