A New Information Management System for FSD: Brief Pause in Data Publishing in November
The documentation of data management measures and the handling of customer data require a system specially designed for this purpose. Our current platform is becoming outdated and will be replaced with a purpose-built system.
FSD’s internal information management system will be renewed this fall. Designed in-house, this new system has been carefully tailored to meet the unique demands of curating and preserving digital research data. The system enhances the quality assurance of data curation and simplifies the management of customer data. Additionally, it facilitates efficient information flow between various internal and external systems. FSD has tested the software extensively, and we are now approaching the release.
The old system will be retired in November, and all data will be transferred to the new platform. During this month-long transition period, we will not publish new datasets in Aila. Please note that this does not affect searching or downloading data from Aila. Data deposits, data processing and our information services will continue to operate without interruption during this period.
