FSD included in Finland’s national roadmap for research infrastructures
The Finnish Social Science Data Archive and the CESSDA ERIC’s Finnish Service Provider (FSD) has been included in Finland’s national roadmap for research infrastructures for 2025–2028.
The Finnish Research Infrastructure Committee (FIRI Committee) within the Research Council of Finland granted roadmap status to a total of 21 national research infrastructures. The Roadmap guides investment and supports research, development, and innovation. Its aim is to keep infrastructures internationally competitive, responsive to scientific challenges, and capable of generating new knowledge and expertise while interacting with RDI actors. The previous roadmap was released in 2021, and FSD was included in it as well.
The selected research infrastructures represent various scientific fields and data resources. Three of the selected infrastructures are SSH-RIs. The FIRI Committee has outlined that the infrastructures noe selected will be granted funding. The final funding decisions will be made in January 2025.
