Christmas and New Year closing times
The FSD User Services are closed from Friday 21 December 2018 and will re-open on Monday 7 January 2019. Aila Data Service will run unattended during this period. On Aila, registered users can download data online in accordance with the conditions set for each dataset.
In 2019, the University of Tampere and Tampere University of Technology will fuse into Tampere University, and the new Tampere university community commences operations 1 January. The Finnish Social Science Data Archive is a separate unit of Tampere University.
At the beginning of the year, the uta.fi domain will be closed, and the University’s website is moved to the address www.tuni.fi. The FSD website will continue to be hosted at www.fsd.uta.fi/en/.
Starting from January 1st 2019 the email addresses of the FSD staff members are similar to firstname.surname@tuni.fi. The old email addresses ending with @uta.fi will also work during a transition period.
Due to changes in the electronic systems of the University of Tampere, service interruptions may occur in FSD’s electronic services between 28 December 2018 and 7 January 2019.
